I am a highly qualified clarinet teacher who specialises in providing fun, quality music tuition to people of all abilities. I am devoted to developing students’ skill and enjoyment of music. Rest assured you will be getting a quality education from a teacher who has gained a world renowned masters degree qualification from the Sibelius Academy of Music in Helsinki, Finland, and a 1st class honours degree from the University of Auckland. I have many years of teaching experience working with beginners, all the way through to students studying postgraduate at university. I have tutored students to success in competitions including the CMNZ Chamber Music Contest, AYO Concerto Competition, and many school music competitions.
Students have the opportunity to play in an end of year concert, and sit ABRSM Music Exams if they wish. Lessons will always cover technique, musicianship and theory skills, and are tailored to the individual needs of the student. In person tuition is available at my Sandringham, Auckland teaching studio. Online lessons are also available for those who can’t travel, or are located outside of the Auckland region.
